Abc Seafood Information

Located in the heart of Arlington, TX, Abc Seafood is one of those hidden gems you might stumble upon while cruising through the area, and trust me, you’ll want to make a stop. This unassuming spot is tucked into a strip mall at 2420 E Arkansas Ln, Suite 216, but don't let the simple exterior fool you-the food here is anything but basic.

As soon as you step inside, the welcoming vibe hits you. It’s clear that this place knows its seafood. The casual atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for everything from a quick weekday lunch to a more laid-back dinner with friends or family. The service is friendly and attentive, with staff eager to share their recommendations if you're new to the menu, which can be a little overwhelming given the variety of options.

The menu at Abc Seafood is a seafood lover’s dream. From the moment you glance over it, you’ll find everything from classic shrimp dishes to more adventurous offerings like their stir-fried crab with garlic butter. One standout dish is the house special fried rice-loaded with shrimp, scallops, and a perfect balance of seasoning. It’s the kind of comfort food that feels like a warm hug, and you’ll find yourself reaching for more, even when you’re already full.

Another highlight is the seafood boil. You can choose your level of spice, from mild to fire-breathing, and the portions are generous. The crawfish, shrimp, and crab legs are always fresh, and the seasoning is just the right amount of flavorful without being overwhelming. Plus, it’s served in a fun, casual style, where you can dig in with your hands and really savor the flavors.

If you're a fan of dim sum, Abc Seafood does a great job with that as well. The dumplings are delicate yet packed with flavor, and the pork buns are soft, sweet, and savory-just the way they should be. It’s a great way to mix things up if you’re not in the mood for a full seafood platter but still want to experience the restaurant’s culinary strengths.

While the focus here is clearly on seafood, there’s also a selection of other dishes, from stir-fried noodles to tasty sides that pair perfectly with the main courses. And, if you’re in the mood for something a bit lighter, their fresh salads and vegetable sides will hit the spot.

The atmosphere, though casual, manages to feel cozy with its clean, simple decor. The buzz of conversations, mixed with the clink of utensils and the occasional laughter, creates a lively and welcoming energy. It’s the type of place where you can enjoy a meal without feeling rushed or out of place.

Whether you’re a regular or a first-timer, Abc Seafood offers a satisfying experience that’s both delicious and unpretentious. The variety of dishes, the fresh ingredients, and the chill vibe make it a go-to spot for anyone craving top-notch seafood in Arlington.

What People's Say About Place

This is our first time coming to ABC seafood. We would probably come back again because we think this restaurant is better than the pearl and Kirin court. Dim sum and food is great however one of the server is lack of professionalism.

My coworkers and I love this place. We've been going there for about 15 years. It used to be dingy and scary with great food but after the remodel it looks so good and still has great food. Everything was great! The custard balls are soooo good!!

Came here on Friday dinner at 7pm. Waitresses are very friendly. The interior is dated. Could use some remodel but it’s not about the looks, it’s about the food. Ordered from the menu and not Dim Sum. Dim Sum menu looks great with variety selection. Ordered the salty fish tofu pot, shrimp and scallops and beef ribs. They do have free flow of rice. A plus for me. Food Taste great. They do have Dim Sum cart. Update: back here again after 8 months. They remodeled and looks great. Bright and modern looking. Great place for big crowd.

If you want Dim Sum and anything else on their menu… you will NOT be sorry! I have been coming here for years. Everything made to order, authentic and delicious! Used to be a little dated in looks, but now with their recent renovation they are probably one of the best looking family owned places to have Dim Sum and Asian cuisine. Nice staff, always friendly and willing to answer questions about the dishes and make recommendations. They truly respect everyone of their guests and want you to leave full and happy… and YOU WILL! Try them over any other place in Arlington/Mansfield and you will see why they have been in business DECADES!

-Updated edit 9/14/2024- This place recently got remodeled. Very modern and clean looking than before! Food is much better than my last update below. Dim sum was good, so was the fried rice and Korean short ribs. I would come here again! -original review below- I feel the dim sum has gone downhill. I was pressured to get soup, which I kept rejecting. I finally gave in and it was awful and cold.

We stopped in for a late lunch, looking for dim sum in the Arlington area. Luckily they still had some they could serve around 3 pm. Our server was accommodating and made sure we were able to get everything we wanted. Everything was seasoned as expected. The tap water and ice tasted filtered, and were quite refreshing. It's an older restaurant in a retail center. Overall it wasn't the best dim sum I've had, but it hit the spot for a fair price. I would go back.

My family went on a Sunday so it was very busy and very packed. On the weekends, they have the dim sum carts that come around table by table and you can order food that way. During the week days you order a la carts for your table. Food was pretty good! My family was very impressed as everything was delicious and flavorful. 9/10 would definitely recommend and come again. They just remodeled the entire restaurant within the last year and it’s so Modern, nice, and clean on the inside now! Also I went with 5 people and my bill with gratitude was $175. Super affordable!

ABC has been upgraded new version very clean and beautiful . Wedding party has good service and food very delicious
